Nitin’s family d e p e n ds o n rai n - f ed a g ric u l t u re w i t h small s c a tt er e d la n d. His family members could not ever get an educational opportunity but somehow they made it a point and managed to enrol Nitin in a nearby school. Nitin comes for remedial classes at Sshrishti’s Community Resource Network (CRN) learning centre. Initially Nitin had difficulty in interacting with those around him because of his extremely argumentative and impatient behaviour. He often avoided attending school and was prone to even screaming in class. His academic performance was low but the teachers of Sshrishti’s learning centre recognized in him the potential to do well.
